The Southeastern Microbiology Summit (100th General Meeting of the Southeastern Branch of ASM and Florida Branch of ASM) will take place on September 5-7, 2014 in Ponte Vedra Beach Sawgrass Marriott Resort.  Ponte Vedra Beach is a suburb of Jacksonville. Most of the events will take place on Friday and Saturday, with only a morning mentoring session on Sunday.

The registration fee includes a social, a working lunch and morning coffee.  To make reservations at the hotel, please go to the following link or call 800-457-4653 (please don’t forget to mention that you are part of the group).

Abstract submission Deadline is August 15, 2014.  Those who complete the on-line registration will receive detailed instructions on abstract submission.

For students, we plan to have a limited number of travel grants, so please make sure your students apply.  The application will be pretty straightforward: they just need to check the eligibility box on their application, and we'll select them based on the abstract.

Looking forward to seeing you in Ponte Vedra in September!
